public class SanitationEngineer

extends Heaper

SanitationEngineers are used by modules that can perform clever resource management at
garbage collection time. These modules should implement subclasses of SanitationEngineer
(SE) which implement the method {void} recycle.
The garbage collector calls the recycle method for each existing SE prior to the marking
phase. SEs are registered
by construction and deregistered by destruction.

Description copied from class: Heaper

Classes should implement this message rather than a destructor. We use this so
the destruction behavior implemented in abstract superclasses can access the
vtable of the concrete run-time type in C++. Using a message makes C++
parallel the Smalltalk semantics for delete. Destroy will actually call the destructor.
